Dudettes Take Alabama by Storm

The 5 Dudettes arrived in Birmingham, Alabama this month just as the edge of a tornado whipped the sky into a cocktail of big fat raindrops and noisy hail. We came to hike and canoe in some of the state's most amazing wilderness areas. But along the way we got a bit distracted by the FOOD. How can you not love a place where restaurants categorize banana pudding as a vegetable, a BLT may come stuffed with fried green tomatoes and where the best possible breakfast is a big piece of pecan pie?
